Services offered by Alun of AJAR Photographics:

• Day  Nurseries / Playgroups / Schools etc
  

  AJAR Photographics operates successful photographic shoots at Day Nurseries, Playgroups, Schools and other similar children's groups.  It is providing a service for  a  number of local groups within the counties of Flintshire, Wrexham, Denbighshire and Cheshire.  Some references can be found on the References page of this web site.  Each group receives a commission from the sales of the packages on offer.  There is a high take-up from each group shoot with about 90% of parents purchasing prints.

  Other aspects which can be considered are graduation photos, staff photos, open days and so on.

  AJAR Photographics has also undertaken modern class photographs for a Primary School in Flintshire.

  Alun is also a member of SchoolPhotoPRO which is an organisation of independent professional school photographers which seek to provide quality service and products to the pre-school and school sectors.  Due to his teaching background and his role as a Parent Governor  of his daughter's Primary School (Ysgol Terrig in Treuddyn) AND of his son's secondary School (Castell Alun High School in Hope), he has an Enhanced CRB.

   

• Events & Proms
  

  AJAR Photographics operates a successful School Proms and Events service. Two references can be found on the References page of this web site. 

  On the night, with available space, AJAR Photographics is able to set up a portable studio set-up within close proximity to the main function room AND provide actual mounted prints on the night.  Some sample Prom photos can be seen on the References page of this web site.

  AJAR Photographics can also provide gifts such as key fobs, fridge magnets, etc.

  There is no charge to schools for the Proms or charities for their fund-raising events AND  AJAR Photographics donates 10% of the sales taken on the night to the school or charity concerned.

  You may be a local hotel or establishment that arranges various events for the public.  AJAR Photographics has links with a number of hotels and has been involved in Tribute Nights, etc.

  AJAR Photographics can also provide services for fund-raising events  OR  events organised by local businesses.

    

• Portraits
  

  AJAR Photographics can offer professional portraits at a number of locations from your own home, a local hall or even at an idyllic location.  Alun adopts a fairly relaxed and easy-going approach to capture an image of which you can feel proud.  One which should provide you with lasting memories.

  Family portrait sessions taken in the privacy of your own home OR within the confines of your own gardens can certainly make you feel 'at home'.  You will not need to organise what clothes or accessories/toys to take as they will all be at hand since you will be at home.

  Such sessions can last between an 60 to 90 minutes and allows for a variety of shots from individuals to siblings to parents to friends to groups.  There is also an opportunity for changes of clothing.

  The photographs taken can be posed or spontaneous or a mixture depending upon your requirements or needs.

  At a starting price of £150, you will receive a copyright-free CD with up to 12 high-resolution images from the shoot within 7-10 days.  These images would be yours to keep, print and copy BUT not sell.  The images can be viewed in a password protected gallery on the web site.  Additional images OR image processing services can be provided at a cost.  Additional expenses such as travel may need to be charged.

  If you would only want a single print, then the minimum sitting fee is £35 and prints are extra.

  You may wish to use this opportunity to set-up a portfolio session where you could imagine yourself as a model - this could be a photoshoot.
  

   

• Photoshoots
  

  AJAR Photographics is able to create a professional studio set-up with backdrop and lights in any large room at a home or at a workplace or at a local hall. 

  This would be ideal for a party, a special occasion or simply a few friends getting-together for a few hours.  You could simply enjoy dressing up, being made up and having some professional photographs taken in a relaxing environment.

  Such sessions can last between an 2 to 3 hours and allows for a variety of shots from individuals to groups.  There is also an opportunity for 2 to 3 changes of clothing.

  At a starting price of £250 for a group of 10, each member of the group would get a  copyright-free CD with up to 10 high-resolution images from the night.  Additional members above the group limit of 10 will be charged at £15 each.  These images would be yours to keep, print and copy BUT not sell.  The images can be viewed in a password protected gallery on the web site.  Additional images OR image processing services can be provided at a cost.  Additional expenses such as travel may need to be charged.

   

• Pets
  

  Alun has always enjoyed animals and enjoys photographing them.  He is developing links with Countrywide store near the Wrexham General station . He was recently involved in their Pet Day AND has been asked to undertake another this coming May. He took and printed images on the day for proud pet owners.  He will be returning for future events.

  Why not ask him to come along and produce images of your pets which can outlast them!

  Maybe you are a member of an organisation such as dog trainers, snake owners and would like some publicity images for your web site or simply to hang on the wall.  This could be such an opportunity.

   

• Weddings, Engagements, Christenings & Renewal of Vows
  

  AJAR Photographics has a package to suit all needs.

  Whether you just want AJAR Photographics to take some professional images on the day and provide you with a set of prints where you create your own album OR have them supplied copyright-free on a CD OR you allow us to create the finished album for you to be proud of.

  Pre-wedding AJAR Photographics will meet up with you EITHER in the confines of your own home OR at a convenient location to meet you and discuss your requirements AND seek to answer your questions.

  After signing a contract, AJAR photographics will be available to answer questions as the big day approaches.

  On the day itself, he will be available to photograph the bride as she prepares for her big day, the groups as they arrive at the venue or church, the wedding service provided permission is given, the signing of the register, the groups at the wedding or reception venue(s), the cutting of the cake, etc.
  

  He is also willing to remain for the wedding meal and evening function at additional expenditure.
  

   

• Commercial
  

  AJAR Photographics can provide local businesses with a photographic service.  Projects that have been undertaken relate to  the provision of images for the web site of a Milan chiropractor, the provision of teaching material for a college where the students have various disabilities, images taken at fashion shoots organised by local retailers on behalf of local charities.

  He will even consider setting up a retainer where local businesses can budget a monthly fee in return for services.  This would mean that the services would be cheaper as a result AND that the business would have some access to AJAR Photographics during the retainer period.

  AJAR Photographics would charge an initial fee of £125 plus expenses for a 1 hour service. Charges for half days would be £250 (up to 3 hours) and full days would be £400 (up to 7 hours).
