Alun Roberts is a photographer based in the quiet village of Hope which is situated between the towns of Wrexham and Mold in North East Wales. It is within traveling distance of Snowdonia National Park with its mountains and lakes, the historic castles of North Wales such as Conwy and Harlech, the International Eisteddfod town of Llangollen with its steam train, the North Wales coast and many other areas of scenic beauty.
It is also near to the Roman city of Chester, the sports loving cities of Liverpool and Manchester, other areas of natural beauty such as the Peak and Lake Districts.
Alun, with his teaching background, is equally at home with children and adults of all ages from 7 weeks to 77+ years. He is a down to earth and friendly individual who will quickly make you feel at home. Due to his teaching background has an Enhanced CRB.
He is interested in many aspects of photography but primarily enjoys portraiture whether it is babies, in the quietness of their own home or children at a local day nursery or couples having some pre-marriage photographs at a romantic location or families in a studio context.
He has worked with students with various disabilities at a local college, children at various playgroups/nurseries, proms for local high schools, productions by a local children's theatre producing images for parents to purchase, and so on.
He also enjoys taking a walk on the wild side and spending time seeking to capture the essence of the natural beauty which is the world around us.
